8K and 4K60P video recording

You can film in 8K and 4K, use 10-bit 4:2:2 recording and choose from various picture profiles, such as S-Cinetone and S-LOG. Thanks to the heat dissipation system, you can record for long periods, and the body features a full-size HDMI connection. With 8-stop internal image stabilisation (IBIS) and focus compensation, you no longer have to worry about shaky footage. This makes the A7R V a true hybrid camera.

Made for professionals

The A7R V delivers professional images and features a unique 4-axis tiltable touchscreen that allows you to fully tilt and flip the screen. In addition, the camera features an electronic OLED Quad-XGA viewfinder with 9.44 million-dot resolution, as well as a strong aluminium body and shutter taken from the Sony A1.

When it comes to image formats, the A7R V also gives you more choice: in addition to JPG, uncompressed RAW and compressed RAW, you can now also choose lossless RAW. This image format provides 50 to 80% smaller files at 26 MP, without file loss.

Ultra-fast transfer and connectivity

In terms of connectivity and transfer, the Sony A7R V has taken things a step further. You can enjoy ultra-fast 2.4 GHz/5 GHz Wi-Fi transfer and a 10 Gbps SuperSpeed USB-C connection to control or transfer your content remotely more quickly. Of course, the body also features 2 card slots, allowing you to record on both CFexpress Type A and SD cards.
