Familiar sensor, image processor and viewfinder
The sensor and processor of the X-T30 are identical to those of the X-T3. It's the familiar 26.1 megapixel X-Trans CMOS 4 image sensor and X-Processor 4, with a fast autofocus system and the same lowest ISO value (160) when shooting in RAW. This allows you to capture subjects even faster in the perfect quality that Fujifilm is known for.
The electronic viewfinder, with the 'sports finder mode' from the X-T3, is also found in this camera. This allows you to see subjects approaching that fall outside the frame and adjust your composition accordingly. Furthermore, the X-T30 features the 'Pre Shoot' function, just like its bigger brother, where pressing the shutter button halfway already starts capturing images. So you'll never miss a shot again!
The same autofocus system with even more possibilities.
The autofocus system of the X-T30 is the same as that of the X-T3, but with even more possibilities. The autofocus system features even more advanced autofocus tracking, enabling improved face and eye recognition. This allows you to specify which face to focus on when taking a group photo. Thanks to improved exposure measurement from -0.5 to -3EV, performance in poor lighting conditions will be even better. By selecting the 'scene recognition system' function (Advanced SR Auto Mode), the camera automatically chooses the best setting based on 58 different presets. This gives you the best image quality without having to worry about camera settings.
Built-in film simulations for creativity
Like the X-T3, the X-T30 mirrorless camera features 16 film simulations, giving you complete freedom to unleash your creativity. The mirrorless camera includes modes such as 'Colour Chrome Effect' and 'Monochrome Effect'. The 'Colour Chrome Effect' produces richer and deeper colours in your shots. The 'Monochrome Effect' is ideal for further emphasising the cool and warm tones in your black and white shots. The film simulation 'ETERNA' has been added to the X-T30 for a rich colour gradation.
New body for greater convenience
Compared to its predecessor, the Fujifilm X-T30 has undergone several changes to the camera body to serve the photographer even better. A number of selection buttons have been replaced by a joystick, making the camera easier to operate — especially when you want to frame and focus on a subject or select a different AF point. The LCD screen has also become 1.3 millimetres slimmer and responds much faster to touch. Thanks to these adjustments, the camera weighs just 383 grams. This makes it more comfortable to hold and operate, even with large lenses.
