Description
The Canon Speedlite 470EX-AI is a unique on-camera flash with Auto Intelligent Bounce technology. This function measures the room you are working in, along with the set focus distance, to automatically tilt and rotate the flash head to produce even, diffuse and clear bounce flash results. This function can be used in fully automatic mode, where the flash automatically determines all settings, or in semi-automatic mode, where you can set the angle of the flash and automatically rotate it, depending on the specific camera position or orientation used.
In addition to its various automated capabilities, the 470EX-AI also stands out due to its good flash specifications, including compatibility with E-TTL / E-TTL II, a guide number of 47 meters at ISO 100 and 105 mm, a zoom head with a coverage of 24- 105 mm and a pull-out diffuser to extend this coverage to 14 mm. Manual stepless adjustment via bounce is possible with a tilting range of up to 120 ° together with +/- 180 ° rotation and off-camera triggering is possible using the optical slave mode.
