Effect Machines

Effect machines are devices that let you create special, magical and stunning effects. Let smoke give your photos a mysterious atmosphere. You can use these not only at parties and shows – in photography, effect machines also produce spectacular images.

Different types of effect machines

There are different types of effect machines, each producing a different desired result. Think carefully about which effect you want to create and how wide you want the shot to be. An effect such as smoke in a photo can, for example, make a photo feel mysterious. But if you have too much smoke for a small frame, it can also overpower the photo.

Smoke machine

A smoke machine adds an exciting, playful effect to the scene. You can often operate it with a remote control, so you can set up your composition and camera properly in the meantime. Use a small amount of smoke in a background or as a detail. Or choose to use a lot of smoke and make a person or element stand out.

Bubble machine

With a bubble machine you create magical and playful images. A (soap) bubble shows different colours and shapes, which lets you make beautiful images. Zoom in on a bubble or let the machine run and use it in your composition.

Wind machine

A wind machine, as the name suggests, makes wind. With different settings, you can often choose how much wind you want. That way you no longer have to wait for nature, and you can have wind indoors in the photo studio as well.

Thanks to wind, hair or clothing can flutter beautifully, and you get movement in your photos.
