Hähnel is one of the leading manufacturers of photography accessories. From a small distributor of film equipment founded in Cologne in 1958, Hähnel has grown into the company it is today.

Over the past 50 years the company has achieved a great deal. It was the first to develop the world’s motorised Splizer for mounting 8mm film. From there came a slide viewer with a built-in screen, and in recent years the company designed the first optical zoom flash to deliver an even spread of light. Hähnel went on to develop the charger market with the Pro 9000 high-tech charging technology, followed by the world’s first plug-in charger for lithium-ion batteries.

Hähnel is best known for its speedlights, triggers, ProCubes and batteries. Products coming out of the Hähnel factory are extensively tested, so you can always count on a product that excels in quality, design and ease of use.
