A power station is essentially a larger, more powerful power bank. With a power station you can charge not only your phone, but also your laptop, lighting setup or TV! These portable power stations come in different sizes and go with you wherever you need them.

What is a power station?

A power station is a kind of portable, larger and more powerful power bank. It's a portable generator that you can connect small and large devices to. Depending on the device you connect, a power station lasts a long time. You can, for example, choose to charge a phone for several days, or to power a lighting setup for a shorter time. This also depends on the size of your power station.

Use is fairly simple because a power station always has multiple connections, including a USB, a 12 Volt and a mains socket. Do bear in mind: before you set off, you'll need to charge the power station. Want to always be prepared and have energy at your disposal? Then connect a solar panel.

When do you use a power station?

A power station is ideal if you want to take electricity with you, but it isn't (easily) available on location. You use smaller power stations when you plan to move around more, because they're easier to take with you. So you can use these to charge phones at a festival, or to charge your batteries during a shoot. A larger power station is useful for powering a lighting setup or supplying a bigger device with electricity for a whole weekend.
