What is a speed ring?

A speed ring is a round metal adapter designed to attach a photo camera to a softbox. This way you can control the adjustment of the exposure on the object. In addition to the function for a softbox, there are also speed rings that act as an intermediate piece for pairing a snoot or mount on your camera. The ring is attached to a camera in just a few seconds and can be used immediately.
