Kowa TSN-EX16S 1.6x Extender for TSN-600/660/82SV
Kowa has launched the TSN-EX16S 1.6x Extender for TSN-600/660/82SV alongside the already existing extender TSN-EX16. So why launch the S variant you might ask? The TSN-EX16S was created to make older Kowa models suitable for the current eyepieces and digiscoping capabilities Kowa has to offer you.
First, the TSN-EX16S extender increases the magnification of the eyepiece you are using by a factor of 1.6, this is the same functionality as the regular TSN-EX16. However, the TSN-EX16S allows you to equip your old spotting scope with the current eyepiece and digiscoping ring capabilities that Kowa has developed. For example, you can attach the TE-Z9B eyepiece to your TSN-601 and go spotting with the TSN-PA8 adapter.
These models are suitable for the TSN-EX16S: TSN-661, TSN-662, TSN-663, TSN-664, TSN-663M, TSN-664M, TSN-82SV, TSN-601, TSN-602, TSN-611, TSN-612, TSN-613, TSN-1, TSN-2, TSN-3, TSN-4.
There are models within the TSN-1/2/3/4 series that feature protective glass, therefore they are not suitable for the TSN-EX16S.
The high-quality TSN-EX16S easily attaches to your spotting scope by means of a screw thread. It makes your old spotting scope suitable for all eyepieces and digiscoping capabilities of current spotting scope models.
