Description
National Geographic 130/650 Newton Telescope
National Geographic has released a very attractive range of instruments including this bright mirror telescope. The National Geographic 130/650 Newton is a reflecting telescope (also called a reflector telescope). The more experienced astronomer will know that illumination is a more important factor than magnification. These people will appreciate the large 130mm mirror, this allows a significant amount of light to be collected and reflected. You will be able to view distant objects in the solar system in detail with ease. The 130mm aperture and a focal length of 650mm give an focal ratio of f/5.0. At a maximum meaningful magnification of 260x, the telescope gives a nice, clear and tight image. The EQ mount is strong and solidly constructed.
Main features of the National Geographic 130/650 Newton Telescope:
- Optical design: Newton Reflector (Sperical)
