Description
The National Geographic 70/400 telescope is a children's telescope with a backpack. With this telescope you can see impressive celestial bodies up close. This lens telescope has an aperture of 70 mm and a focal length of 400 mm. This makes it an ideal telescope to get acquainted with the world of astronomy.
With 3 different eyepieces you have the following choice: 20x, 50x and 100x magnification literally grab the stars from the sky. The Barlow lens allows you to triple any magnification again. There is a smartphone adapter for the eyepiece that allows you to take impressive pictures of the moon and planets.
You are not alone on your nightly exploration: The augmented reality app is always your faithful travel guide. After setting up the AR app, simply clip your smartphone into the smartphone adapter on the telescope. In AR mode, the names and images of the constellations you point your telescope at will appear on your phone's screen. So you can easily navigate from planet to constellation and discover everything there is to admire in the blink of an eye. Use the augmented reality photo function to take some nice shots.
In addition, the app has a lot of nice information in photos, audio and text. For example, in the 'Dictionary of the Constellations' you can learn more about the Greek heroes to whom the constellations owe their name. You can also learn more about the planets orbiting the Earth and the Sun in the 'Encyclopedia of the Solar System'.
It comes complete with three eyepieces, Amici prism, Barlow lens and aluminium tripod in a sturdy space-look backpack.
