Description

Nikon

The Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 120-300MM F/2.8E FL ED SR VR is a professional telephoto zoom lens that offers a constant maximum aperture of f/2.8 over the entire focal length range from 120 to 300 mm. It achieves perfect results even in difficult low-light conditions thanks to optical performance comparable to fixed focal length lenses and excellent focusing on the subject. Whether shooting indoors in a sports hall or outdoors at night, the phenomenal resolving power of this lens enables incredibly sharp images.

The optical design has 25 elements in 19 groups and incorporates Nikon's new SR glass, which meticulously counteracts chromatic aberration. ARNEO Coat and Nano Crystal Coat counteract ghost and flare effects. Thanks to AF performance comparable to that of a fixed focal length telephoto lens, fast-moving subjects are accurately tracked, even if they move erratically.

The AF-S NIKKOR 120-300mm f/2.8E FL ED SR VR is the first lens to use both Nikon's ED glass and Nikon's SR glass to combat chromatic aberration and coma. More difficult to control blue light (short wavelength spectrum) is now corrected, resulting in sharper images and better contrast. Colour edges are greatly reduced even when shooting at maximum aperture.
