Cynthia Metcalfe - 4/2/2019 I bought these because my last pair of binoculars were no use in poor light. These give a clear, sharp image even when light is fading towards the end of the day. They are a good weight - easy to carry. The case is adequate for the job. The lens covers don't fit particularly well but that's my only (minor) criticism. They arrived sooner than anticipated so full marks to photospecialist.

Nick - 3/15/2017 The binoculars were delivered promptly so good from that point of view. The binoculars give a really clear image and were easy to focus. The weight was also important as I take photos too so needed to have something on the light side and I was happy with the feel of them. I would recommend them as i think they are good value for money. The only minor criticism would be that the eyepiece cover does not seem to fit securely although I realise that they are intended to be fixed to the strap, however this would not put me off buying them.

Peter Mowbray - 2/27/2017 I purchase these Nikon Binoculars to replace a pair of 8X42 Bushnells, mainly for the light weight of the Nikons. The difference in quality between these two binoculars is huge. I'm sure when I bought the Bushnells they were at a similar price point as the Nikons. To say I'm happy would be an understatement. The image is so bright and sharp with no colour fringing, I guess that would be down to the ED Glass. the colour rendition and low light performance is exceptional. At just over £200 I would say they are a bargain, I shudder to think what binoculars that cost £1000+ are like. On a negative note I would agree with other reviews I have seen, that the soft case looks and feels cheap.

Iulian - 2/2/2017 I am very pleased with them. I also own Leica Trinovid 8x25, these 8x42 Nikons are easier to use and brighter in dim light but Leicas are much better made and you can take them anywhere being so small and lightweight, perfect for travel.
Great all-arounder binocculars with killer optics, although not a fan of these rubber blobs of these days, that all manufacturers are pushing, they feel cheap. I don't like the looks of the strap either, but it is very comfortable with wide stretchy neoprene shoulder band, but the gold on black NIKON is very visible. I ditched the lens caps, still using the objective cover for know. The cheap ugly soft case has a belt loop and velcro closing, leave it at home or in the car!
For £208 these are a screaming deal, get one!
