Description
The Nikon SB-500 is a compact, user-friendly Speedlight flash unit that is not only compatible with the DX and FX SLR cameras, but also with certain Coolpix cameras and the Nikon Creative Lighting System. Its compact, lightweight design allows you to effortlessly with this flash determine the quality and the direction of the light.
This is the first Nikon flash with a LED lamp of high intensity in the front part, which is ideal for recording movies or close-up photos. The Nikon SB-500 Speedlight also provides the ability to remotely control multiple flash units.

Easy operation
The superior ergonomics are accompanied by clear buttons on the back. Additional functions and the flash mode can be set via a camera menu that is automatically activated when the SB-500 is mounted on the camera.
Point the light
The flash head can be tilted upward up to 90° and can be horizontally rotated up to 180°. Aim the light exactly as you want it in order to make creative shots or get more balanced images in difficult lighting conditions.
LED
The Nikon SB-500 has an LED light with high intensity (100 lx) on the front that is ideal for filming. The LED light covers the angle of view of a 24mm lens (FX format) and offers excellent color reproduction.
