The Panasonic AG-CX370EJ 4K HDR 10BIT Handheld Camera Recorder delivers 4K/60p/10-bit MOV recording with a highly efficient HEVC/H.265 codec. It also features a high-definition, highly sensitive 1.0-type 15M MOS sensor and Hybrid Log Gamma (HLG) for HDR recording, making it perfect for live broadcast environments and content creation for social media platforms. The CX370 features broadcast-quality image tuning, with 16-axis independent colour correction.
The high-end CX370 features built-in NDI HX2 IP connectivity for IP-based transmissions and camera control. When connected to NDI-compatible devices, such as switchers and decoders, NDI HX2 delivers smooth, high-quality IP-based live video production1. The CX370 supports 4K direct streaming via the protocols RTMP, RTMPS and RTSP – and next-generation, IP-based SRT protocols.
Compared to CX-series Camcorder predecessors, the CX370 now supports 12G-SDI output, allowing high-quality, uncompressed 4K low-latency video to be streamed to professional broadcast equipment. The CX370 also supports simultaneous 4K output via SDI-HDMI output.
The CX370 offers superior optical performance thanks to its powerful 24.5 mm (35 mm equivalent) wide-angle zoom lens with 20x optical zoom. It features high-precision autofocus technology with face detection, automatic tracking and five-axis hybrid Image stabilisation. This detects and corrects unwanted camera shake, making the CX370 perfect for stable shooting and tracking of moving subjects.

The CX370's ease of use for professionals in production, broadcast and live streaming sets it apart. Unlike the CX350 model, the Camera features two balanced XLR inputs and a 3.5mm stereo mini-jack input. This allows support for up to four external microphones or line-level audio for 4-channel 24-bit LPCM audio recording.

In addition to the CX370's compatibility with the AVC-ULTRA (P2 MXF) format2, the Camera supports the File Transfer Protocol3, allowing recorded clips to be shared with broadcasters via a wired network, Wi-Fi (AJ-WM50E optional) or USB tethering via a mobile phone. This streamlines production workflows and drastically reduces the time needed to broadcast content.

The newlyïntegrated GENLOCK input terminal delivers broadcast-quality synchronisation in multi-camera environments, while images can be displayed simultaneously on multiple high-definition LCD screens and viewfinders. Focus and zoom settings can also be easily adjusted via wired remote control or over IP-based networks via LAN connection.
