The S5 delivers impressive video performance with 4K 60fps in 4:2:0 10-bit and 4K with 30fps then you can even shoot in 4:2:2 10-bit. Slow motion recordings are made in Full HD at 180fps. With a 24.2 megapixels full frame CMOS sensor, the Lumix DC-S5 offers a wide dynamic range and high sensitivity. The dual native ISO technology used enables the Lumix S5 to record crystal clear high-sensitivity videos with a maximum of ISO 51,200. This technology also minimizes noise at high sensitivity. V-Log/V-Gamut compatibility provides a dynamic range of more than 14 stops to capture every detail.

The improved autofocus of the Panasonic Lumix DC-S5 detects both head and eyes, face and body, even if someone turns their head away for a moment. The powerful 5-axis Dual Image Stabilization allows for a 6.5-stop longer shutter speed. To ensure that the camera is resistant to heavy use, it is equipped with a dust and splash water resistant construction. Optimized heat dispersion ensures a stable, continuous video recording without interruption. Finally, this camera features two card locks, one for UHS-I cards and one for UHS-II cards.

The Panasonic Lumix S 20-60mm F/3.5-5.6 L mount is a compact and light standard zoom lens that can be used very versatile thanks to the zoom range of 20mm to 60mm. The wide angle of view at 20mm makes this lens extremely suitable in locations where space is limited and 60mm is ideal for portraits, for example. The Lumix S 20-60mm F/3.5-5.6 has a minimum focusing distance of only 15 centimetres and also smooth video images are captured without any problems. This is made possible by a mechanism that causes suppression of focus breathing. The optical construction consists of 11 lenses in 9 groups and the use of two aspherical lenses and three ED (Extra-low Dispersion) lenses suppresses both axial chromatic aberration and chromatic aberration by magnification. The aspherical lenses also correct for astigmatism, which produces extremely clear images. In addition, a UHR (Ultra-High Refractive Index) lens ensures uniform image quality from the centre to the edges of the image. This lens is easy to carry along due to its weight of only 350 grams and the design is also dust and splash proof. A fluorine coating on the front element repels water and oil and prevents these substances from attaching to the lens.
