The Panasonic Lumix DC-TZ200 in the color black is built for portability and is a compact point-and-shoot camera with striking photo and video capabilities. Despite its compact size, the camera features a large 1-inch High Sensitivity MOS sensor and a Leica 15x optical zoom lens for making 20.1 MP high-quality photos. The sensor is supplemented by a Venus Engine image processor that is suitable for UHD 4K video recordings up to 30 fps and an extended ISO of 25,600 for use in low light. The Leica DC Vario-Elmar lens in this camera has a 24-360mm equivalent focal range that is perfect for a variety of situations.

As far as video is concerned, the TZ200 can record Full HD at 120 fps with a High-Speed mode and play it at 30 fps, resulting in direct slow motion video. Finally, a 5-axis Hybrid O.I.S image stabilization system is available in all modes - except for 4K and high-speed video recording - and helps minimize the occurrence of camera shake for sharper viewing. The TZ200 is also characterized by its intuitive physical design, with both an electronic viewfinder and an LCD screen. Additional functions are RAW processing in the camera, L-monochrome mode for black-and-white images and Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity.

Leica DC Vario-Elmar 15x Zoom Lens

A far-reaching 15x Leica DC Vario-Elmar zoom lens offers a 24-360mm equivalent focal range and a maximum aperture range of f/3.3-6.4. The lens construction contains three ED elements, five aspherical elements and one aspherical ED lens to minimize spherical aberrations and distortions over the entire zoom range for greater image clarity and sharpness.

The lens contains a powerful 5-axis Hybrid O.I.S. system that largely compensates camera shake for sharper shots from hand in difficult lighting conditions. This image stabilization system also enables a unique Level Shot function that automatically detects the horizontal line of the image and keeps it horizontal during recording, regardless of the tilt of the camera, contributing to greater recording stability.

Post Focus and Light Speed AF

In conjunction with the contrast detection focus system with 49 areas, called Light Speed AF, and the intelligent Depth from Defocus technology, Post Focus incorporates footage as a 4K MP4 file at 30 fps and shifts the specific focus point during the burst recording to offer a range of different focus ranges from which you can choose. During playback, via the camera's touch screen, you can then tap the specific area of the image you want to focus on and an 8MP JPEG file will be created. Multiple individual files with different focus points can be created from the original burst and the focus aid functions can also be used to gain even more precise control over the specific in-focus area.
