The 18.1 MP High Sensitivity MOS sensor and Venus Engine ensure that you can shoot beautiful pictures and videos in poorly lit environments. Even amazing 4K videos. And thanks to the 4K technology in the TZ80, you can create a short video in 30fps with the 4K Photo function and after select the best photo moment.

High-speed autofocus with DFD Technology
The Depth From Defocus (DFD) Auto Focus (AF) Panasonic technology instantly calculates the distance between the objects in the frame and drives the lens focus in a fast, continuous movement. This system allows for faster AF speeds of up to 0.1 seconds and a speed burst shooting with AFC at 5 fps. It also increases continuous focusing stability when shooting video.
The 4K Live Cropping
By directly converting the recording in 4K to Full HD, it is possible to make beautiful stable panning recordings from a fixed position, which is especially ideal for night scenes. It is also possible to gradually and stable let zoom in on a subject without operating the zoom button, by moving the frame to the subject, even if it does not move to the center of the image.
Post Focus
Imagine that you can decide exactly what you want to focus, even after you've taken the photo. The Post Focus feature on the Lumix TZ80 allows you to do that.
