The Panasonic Lumix S9 works closely with your smartphone. You can create your own so-called 'signature presets' on the smartphone. These signature presets are certain colour styles you have created in advance. By then transferring these to the S9, you can immediately apply them to the photos and videos you take. This saves time in post-processing. As well as being able to create your own presets, you can also choose to download the presets via the LUMIX Lab app. Your recordings are quick and easy to transfer to your smartphone thanks to improved connection speed and stability. A new recording format is used for this: MP4 Lite. This is an Open Gate video mode optimised for smartphones. Within 30 seconds, your photo or video is online, just the way you want it.

You can expand the zoom range of the Panasonic S9 while maintaining image quality. This is possible through crop zoom function and the hybrid zoom function. The crop zoom function uses the centre of the camera sensor to extend the normal zoom range. The hybrid zoom function uses both the optical and crop zoom to extend the focal length even further.

The constant aperture of F/2.8 ensures that you can also use the lens in dark conditions without any problems. This means you can also use it to shoot reportage or events. It is a true all-rounder!

The SIGMA 24-70mm F/2.8 DG DN II is extremely compact and fast, giving the lens outstanding optical performance. The 24-70mm F/2.8 boasts a wide range of updated features and advanced technologies to help you get the most out of your photography. For example, the High-responsive Linear Actuator (HLA) makes the lens three times faster at focusing compared to its predecessor. Of course, the autofocus is not only fast, but also extremely precise and quiet. This also allows you to use the lens for videography with minimal focus breathing.

With the addition of an aperture ring and two AFL buttons, functionality has been vastly improved. You can assign functions to the AFL buttons yourself, allowing you to adjust the lens to your own needs. A conscious decision was made to place an AFL button at the top, so you can easily operate it in portrait mode. The lens is also perfect for shooting close-ups. With a minimum focusing distance of just 17 centimetres and a maximum magnification ratio of 1:2.7, you can bring even the smallest details into focus big time.
