The Peak Design Everyday backpack 20L V2 - Charcoal is a versatile bag designed for photographers and videographers. Any photographer with a unique carrying need can take advantage of the compressible, size-adjustable design that minimizes bulk and can be expanded as needed. Multiple magnetic top flap locks allow this backpack to range from 46 to 57 inches in height, while the three dividers allow for stacking items in the main compartment. The dividers also have flip-out surfaces that can be configured to protect items from any of the Everyday Backpack v2's zippered side openings. Because the side openings are positioned to face the wearer when the bag is turned from side to side with both sides facing up, the dividers allow you to decide which items are to be most accessible from the sides of the bag.

When this Everyday Backpack v2 is worn, a zippered sleeve with dedicated pockets for a 12.9-inch tablet computer, a 15-inch laptop and their chargers and cables rests behind the shoulders. To store and organise batteries, memory cards, small electronics or personal items, the inner surfaces of each of the side openings include both a slip pocket and a zip pocket. Along the outside of the side openings are two large, open pockets that can each hold a water bottle, tripod, or monopod; all of which can be attached with the included short external carrying straps with the gear loops above each pocket.

Long external carrying straps are also provided. With the additional gear loops distributed across the surface of the Everyday Backpack v2, those carrying straps can allow equipment, accessories or packable clothing to be attached to the front panel of the bag. Alternatively, the long external carry straps can be used as rear loading straps to secure items underneath the Everyday Backpack v2.

The Everyday Backpack v2 can be carried using the wide, built-in handles along the top, sides or through the adjustable shoulder straps. For heavy loads, the chest strap of this bag can be used to distribute the weight carried more evenly. During storage or transport, the shoulder straps can be magnetically attached to the back panel, which also has an integrated luggage access. This allows the bag to be mounted on the telescopic handle of a rolling suitcase for added convenience.

With a durable nylon construction, the Everyday Backpack v2 is built to be weather resistant. The bottom panel is waterproof to offer further protection of the contents when the bag is placed on a wet surface.
