The Pentax 645Z is equipped with a large CMOS image sensor of 43.8 x 32.8 mm. With a recording area of about 1.7 times larger than a full-frame 35-mm format, you can capture the scene with more sharpness and atmosphere. As the depth of field is narrow, you can also arrange freely use the blurring effects. The Pentax 645Z is more effective and more expressive with the focus on one point that you want to highlight for exciting pictures.
This medium format camera has approximately 51.4 million effective pixels. The number of pixels is a huge advantage when photographing subjects that require a high resolution, such as landscapes. The difference in sharpness and detail is very clear, even in A3 prints.

Optical viewfinder
In order to make the camera housing more compact, a trapezoidal prism was used. The bezel 9 ° is tilted forward from the housing, through which the optical route is optimized for a shorter overall height. Dust-proof, weather-resistant construction

The Optio 645Z is equipped with the 4K interval video, which allows you to take pictures at a specified interval, and join them together to record them as a single video. The resolution is about four times higher than that of Full HD. This feature allows you to experience the world of video with extremely high resolution. Full HD and HD are supported.
SAFOX 11 autofocus system
The AF system the Pentax 645Z uses is SAFOX 11. Diffractive lenses are used in the optical system for suppressing aberration. Sharpen images on the sensor ensures brilliant focus accuracy. There is also a detection sensor of light sources embedded in order to prevent even the smallest influence of AF by specific artificial light sources. There are 27 AF points available. 25 points are cross-shaped focus points equipped with line sensors, both horizontally and vertically.
