Pentax O-GPS2

The Pentax O-GPS2 is a handy GPS unit for DSLRs. The GPS unit has innovative functions and simplifies the tracking and shooting of celestial objects. The O-GPS2 is the successor of the O-GPS1.

You simply attach the unit to the hot shoe of a Pentax DSLR, after which you immediately have extensive information about your location. This way you can read the latitude, longitude, altitude and coordinated universal time quickly and easily.

The O-GPS2 has the advanced ASTROTRACER function. This feature allows you to effortlessly track and photograph celestial objects. Namely, the unit calculates the motion of stars, planets and other celestial bodies using the latitude and alignment data of the camera, then shifts the camera's image sensor in sync with the motion of the objects. Thanks to this function, you no longer need any accessories for shooting celestial objects besides a tripod.
