Thanks to significant improvements in autonomous flight behaviour, anti-interference technology, obstacle detection, video transmission technology, and battery systems, this drone delivers impressive performance on the flight platform. The foldable design and IP55 certification make it suitable for demanding environments. The integrated dual-antenna RTK system ensures millimetre-accurate control during missions.
Combined with the next-generation DG-L35T gimbal, the drone is equipped with a 560x hybrid zoom camera, two thermal imaging cameras, a wide-angle camera, and a laser rangefinder. The two thermal imaging cameras cover both short-range overviews and detailed long-range observations, enabling unobstructed person detection at distances of up to 8 kilometres. This provides more professional and comprehensive solutions for applications such as public safety, energy inspection, and emergency management.
With Autel Skylink 3.0, the system is equipped with 4 antennas supporting 4 frequency bands, delivering a transmission range of up to 20 kilometres. It supports automatic frequency hopping on 900 MHz/2.4 GHz/5.2 GHz/5.8 GHz\*, automatic selection of the optimal channel based on electromagnetic interference, and offers robust anti-interference capabilities with a high transmission capacity of 64 Mbps and low latency.
The Autel DG-L35T gimbal integrates two thermal imaging cameras (short/long focus), a 4K camera with 35x optical zoom, a wide-angle camera, and a laser rangefinder. The zoom camera supports 4K 35x optical zoom and a maximum hybrid zoom of 560x for clear observations at distances of up to 8 kilometres — ideal for applications such as remote inspections. The thermal imaging camera supports 56x hybrid zoom and dual thermal imaging lenses with a resolution of 640 x 512. It features a 12 mm wide-angle lens and a 45 mm telephoto lens, suitable for both short focal length overview shots and detailed long-range observations.
The wide-angle camera has an effective pixel count of 48 megapixels and supports a maximum photo resolution of 8000 x 6000 and a video resolution of 4000 x 3000 at 25 frames per second, meeting the requirements of a wide variety of shooting scenarios. The laser rangefinder supports one-press positioning, enabling rapid target location capture with a maximum range of up to 2 kilometres.
The highly accurate visual positioning capabilities, adaptive frequency hopping, and SLAM navigation technology of the Autel Alpha provide strong resistance to interference, allowing the drone to fly near high-voltage power lines, critical infrastructure, and in complex environments.
Autel's autonomy engine is continuously improved, enabling features such as global route planning and 3D scene reconstruction in complex environments. It offers a range of obstacle detection functions, including return-to-home, manual control, and mission planning, providing a more professional solution for sectors such as security, inspection, and surveying.
