For easy, system-wide use of lenses. With the B.I.G. lens adapter Olympus OM to MFT allows Olympus OM lenses to be attached to Micro Four Thirds cameras. To be able to combine lenses and camera bodies with different bayonet mounts, a special third-party lens adapter is required. Neither the autofocus nor the aperture function is used. Aperture metering, aperture priority and User manual exposure metering are still possible. The infinity setting can still be made. Because there is no built-in lens, the image quality is not affected.
