The Billingham Hadley Small Pro Black/Tan Canvas is the new sister of the popular 'Hadley Small' bag; internally it has exactly the same size, but with additional features that make the bag perfect for many professional photographers and demanding enthusiasts. The first of these features is a handle on top. The handle has a leather bottom for extra comfort when worn, especially handy when you want to use the bag as a mini briefcase for a long time after removing the included adjustable shoulder strap. The second addition is a pocket for documents on the back of the bag, with a waterproof zipper for extra protection during rain showers. At the rear is also a luggage trolley strap, so you can slide the bag over the handle so you can easily travel through an airport.

Of course the best parts of the original 'Hadley Small' have been retained. For shock protection, the bag has the same tried-and-tested padded lining insert (included) as the current 'Hadley Small' design. It is made of dense, dust-covered, foam and provides protection against bumping on all six sides - including the lid. Inside the insert there are two removable vertical dividers and two removable, padded flaps for stacking lenses - these dividers are fastened inside with Velcro. The insert is fixed in the bag with a single strong push button - remove the insert and the bag changes from a camera bag into a stylish, compact bag. Like all our camera bags, the exterior is made of 3-layer storm-resistant 'Stormblock' material: two layers of fabric that are connected to a middle layer of butyl rubber. Stormblock fabric need never be re-made because the butyl layer is permanently bonded to the core of the fabric. The upper flap of the bag is 'sculpted' over the opening of the main compartment, so that even during driving, no rain can get in when you close the bag.

The Hadley Small Pro is small on the outside, but larger on the inside than you would expect. For example, there is room for two rangefinder cameras (such as the Leica M10 and M9 with coupled lens)., a mirrorless camera (such as the Fujifilm X-Pro2, Lumix GH5 or Olympus OM-D E-M1) with two to three medium-sized cameras, lenses or even a medium-sized DSLR without battery grip (such as the Canon 5D Mk4 with 24-70 mm f2.8 coupled and also a 24-105 mm lens in the bag) because the bag slightly stretches at the top light to create room for larger equipment.
