The Blackmagic UpDownCross 100G is a 1U IP video standard converter, designed for 100G broadcast infrastructures.

Blackmagic UpDownCross 100G

The device supports up to eight channels of SMPTE 2110 video in SD, HD, and Ultra HD resolutions, and simultaneously converts IP video streams to any other video standard via two 100GbE QSFP28 interfaces with SMPTE 2022-7 redundancy for uninterrupted signal transmission. Each IP stream also supports up to 16 channels of embedded audio.

The UpDownCross 100G is designed for use in live production and broadcast environments, and features a 2.2-inch LCD screen on the front panel with an integrated rotary knob and buttons, enabling real-time monitoring of video, audio, and system status. A built-in speaker and headphone output provide immediate control over audio quality. External control is available via a dedicated RJ45 port for NMOS configuration and USB-C for installation and firmware updates. Dual IEC power inputs ensure power supply redundancy for reliable performance.
