Blackmagic URSA Cine 12K LF 100G + EVF
Capture your feature films or live productions with the URSA Cine 12K LF 100G camera from Blackmagic Design. This model is equipped with a cinematic 12K full-frame 36 x 24mm sensor with a dynamic range of 16 stops and Blackmagic RAW recording up to 12K 3:2 open gate. The camera features a blazing-fast 100GbE port supporting live ST-2110 video standards, Wi-Fi and SRT live streaming, built-in ND filters, and fast networking capabilities for cloud storage and M.2 SSD media.
This URSA Cine 12K LF 100G comes supplied with ARRI PL and Canon EF lens mounts, an 8TB media module, a handle, a rod mount, a 19mm baseplate with shoulder support, a B-battery plate, a wheeled hard case with a custom-cut foam insert, and an activation code for downloading DaVinci Resolve Studio.
The large-format sensor of the URSA Cine 12K LF 100G camera offers impressively flexible options for aspect ratios, lenses and delivery formats, allowing you to create distinctive content of the highest quality. The full sensor surface of the 12K LF produces a stunning 3:2 open-gate image and enables you to shoot anamorphic and deliver in a range of aspect ratios with de-squeeze factors of 1.3, 1.5, 1.6, 1.66, 1.8 and 2x. You can also use the URSA Cine 12K LF 100G to record 4K, 8K or 12K with the full sensor without cropping, preserving the full field of view of your lenses. The 12K LF models even feature 9K Super 35 modes for full compatibility with classic cinema lenses.
The URSA Cine 12K LF 100G is designed to meet the demands of any high-end production. The well-balanced camera body is built with a robust magnesium alloy chassis and a lightweight carbon fibre polycarbonate composite housing, so you can move quickly on set. There is a fold-out 5-inch touchscreen for reviewing footage and accessing camera settings, plus a dedicated assistant station with a 5-inch LCD display and full camera control. Standard LEMO and Fischer connectors allow remote control of the camera and supply power to lens motors and other accessories. You also get 12G-SDI output, 100G Ethernet, USB-C, XLR audio and soft-touch backlit buttons.
Add a separately available Blackmagic Design B4 lens mount to gain access to both the speed of fast broadcast servo zoom lenses and higher frame rates. The 4.6K B4 crop 16:9 format supports frame rates up to 240 fps, making it ideal for dynamic sports coverage.
Different projects require different lenses, which is why the URSA Cine 12K LF 100G features an interchangeable lens mount. This model comes with an ARRI PL mount that you can quickly swap for the included Canon EF mount or a separately available B4 or ARRI LPL mount. This means you can work with PL or LPL cinema lenses or autofocus EF photography lenses, making the URSA Cine 12K LF 100G compatible with a wide range of professional lenses. Use modern, fast lenses for sharp, precise images on one shoot, then film a period drama with vintage photography lenses. Each mount features contact pins to read lens metadata for monitoring and use in post-production.
