This versatile camera features Wi-Fi and SRT live streaming, built-in ND filters, LEMO and Fischer standard connectors for control and power, and fast networking capabilities for cloud storage and M.2 SSD media. It comes with a locking EF mount, and all other accessories are optional.
The URSA Cine camera features a revolutionary new sensor designed for incredible image quality at every resolution, from 4K to a massive 12K. The larger sensor builds on the technology of the URSA Mini Pro 12K with larger photosites, resulting in 16 stops of dynamic range. The unique RGBW architecture provides equal amounts of red, green, and blue pixels. This means the camera is optimised for incredibly rich colours at all resolutions, offering the ultimate in image quality and flexibility. You can now capture more detail with a greater dynamic range than ever before. In addition, in-sensor scaling means you can shoot at every resolution without cropping.
The URSA Cine is designed to meet the demands of any high-end production. The evenly balanced camera body is built with a robust magnesium alloy chassis and a lightweight carbon fibre polycarbonate composite housing, so you can move quickly on set. Backlit soft-touch buttons make controls easy to see in any conditions. There's a fold-out 5-inch touchscreen for reviewing footage and accessing camera settings, plus a dedicated assistant station on the opposite side of the camera, featuring a 5-inch LCD display and full camera control. Standard LEMO and Fischer connectors allow remote camera control and deliver power to lens motors and other accessories. You also get 12G-SDI output, 10G Ethernet, USB-C, XLR audio, and more.
The large-format sensor in the URSA Cine offers ultimate flexibility for aspect ratios, lenses, and delivery formats. The full-frame sensor surface delivers a stunning 3:2 open-gate image, allowing you to reframe your shots in post-production. Or you can use the large sensor surface to shoot anamorphic and deliver in a range of aspect ratios with de-squeeze factors of 1.3, 1.5, 1.6, 1.66, 1.8, and 2x. You can also shoot in 4K, 8K, or 12K using the full sensor without cropping, preserving the full field of view of your lenses. There are even 9K Super 35 4-perf, 3-perf, and 2-perf modes for full compatibility with classic cinema lenses. All of this enables you to create distinctive content of the highest quality.
Different projects call for different lenses, which is why the URSA Cine features an interchangeable lens mount. This model comes with a locking EF mount, and you can quickly switch between PL, LPL, and Hasselblad mounts. That means you can work with PL or LPL cinema lenses, EF lenses, or large-format Hasselblad photography lenses, making the URSA Cine compatible with the widest possible range of professional lenses. Imagine using modern, fast lenses for sharp, precise images on one shoot, then capturing a period drama with vintage photography lenses on the next.
