This featherweight nature spy weighs just 263 grams and is your ticket to the fascinating world of forest dwellers.
Besides a solar panel for eco-friendly power supply, the Scouting Cam Black300 WiFi Solar 4K Mini also features WiFi and Bluetooth. Videos can even be recorded in a high 4K Ultra HD resolution, while photos with an image resolution of up to 32 MP produce good results. The integrated WiFi module allows direct connection of the camera to the smartphone. Recordings can be viewed, downloaded and deleted via the free app. The tedious process of removing the memory card is no longer necessary. The app also allows live preview with the option of manual image and video recording. In addition to convenient data transfer, the WiFi connection and the app can also be used to manage the wildlife camera's system settings.
A particular highlight of the Braun Scouting Cam Black300 WiFi Solar 4K Mini is the solar panel, which provides solar power to the battery (2600 mAh Li-Ion). For safety reasons, four AA batteries can also be used as a power supply when the sun is not shining for long periods of time. Optionally, the camera can also be powered via a 6V 1.5A mains adapter.
Thanks to its built-in black LEDs and 3MP CMOS image sensor, the camera captures both high-quality daytime and excellent night shots. Images can be stored on a micro SD memory card with up to 256GB. The wildlife camera also has a USB-C slot for connecting to a PC and TV. The exact resolution of the photos and videos and numerous other parameters can be set via the connected smartphone and the app. Moreover, the control panel of the 2" TFT colour display allows manual settings directly on the Black300 WiFi Solar 4K Mini and quick and easy control of the captured shots.
Resolution for videos can range from 4K to 2.7K to 1080p/720p/480 (all at 30 fps). Users can choose between 32 MP and 1 MP for photo resolution. In addition, the Braun Scouting Cam Black300 WiFi Solar 4K Mini has an integrated PIR motion sensor with three different sensitivities, a detection angle of 90 degrees, a trigger distance of up to 21 metres and a trigger time of about 0.3 seconds.
The wildlife camera also has an integrated microphone, password protection, a time-lapse mode and an indication of the date, time, moon phase and temperature. Thanks to a mounting strap, the robust and splash-proof (IP65) wildlife camera can be easily attached to the desired location. Operating temperatures range from -15°C to +60°C. Standby time is approximately six months.
