This can also be set in an EQ position if you are more familiar with telescopic equipment. The diameter of the lens is 70 mm and the focal length is 900 mm. This gives a total magnification of approximately 140x. This makes planet and moon observations possible. If the conditions are very favourable, it is even possible to spot extremely bright nebulae.
