The Bresser Pollux 150/400 Mirror Telescope EQ3 is a wonderful instrument. Because an extra lens has been added to the optical design, it is also called a catadioptric telescope. This lens system, which is located in front of the focuser, doubles the focal point. This makes this telescope compact in size, but still has a long focal point with a beautiful large aperture of 150 mm. A significant amount of light can be collected and reflected by the large 150 mm mirror. This allows you to view detailed objects in the solar system in detail with ease. The 150 mm aperture and a focal length of 1400 mm give this OTA (Optical Tube Assembly) a focal ratio of f / 9.3. The EQ3 equatorial mount allows you to easily follow the objects in the night sky. A 3x Barlow lens is included as an accessory to increase the focal point. However, this is at the expense of the light output and the details. That is why a Barlow lens is only advised when viewing very bright objects such as the moon. The beautiful carbon look of the OTA (Optical Tube Assembly) also makes the viewer look very professional. With the included smartphone camera adapter you can easily take a photo of bright objects such as the moon.
