The Domke Filmguard Film Protection Bag protects your unexposed film rolls from the harmful X-ray radiation of airport scanners and customs checks. Whether you travel the world as a professional film photographer or capture your holiday snapshots on film as a hobbyist, this bag means you don’t have to worry about your film stock being damaged by fogging or streaked images. The three-layer construction with lead-laminated vinyl between a water-repellent ballistic nylon outer shell and a smooth inner lining of strong 420 denier nylon provides reliable protection against low-dose X-ray equipment such as that used for hand luggage checks.

This compact A5 bag has room for up to 10 rolls of 35mm or 120 medium format film. The full-length hook-and-loop closure not only seals your film safely against X-ray radiation, but also against dust, moisture and the elements. Please note: use the Filmguard in your hand luggage only, as checked baggage is exposed to much stronger X-ray doses that this bag cannot protect against. The bag has been tested and approved by InVision Technologies for films up to ISO 800, so you can travel with peace of mind.
