The Fotodiox Pro lens mount adapter compatible with M42 type 1 screw mount SLR lens to Canon EOS (EF, EF-S) mount SLR camera body allows an M42 mount lens to be used without an aperture pin, or with a non-fully depressible aperture pin and tabs along the screw mount, can be used on a Canon EF or EF-S camera. Designed to support infinity focusing, it uses a copper lens mounting ring for a durable, yet lightweight camera-lens connection.

A Generation v10 chip built into the adapter enables focus confirmation within a Canon EF or EF-S camera when used with a compatible M42 lens. This function allows fast and accurate focusing via the viewfinder of a compatible camera or via the live view function.
