The camera is equipped with a 940nm infrared LED light. Did you know that nm is short for nanometre and is one millionth of a millimetre? Above 700nm, humans and animals cannot see infrared radiation. So we don't reveal to animals that we are watching them. The infrared illumination allows you to use the camera not only during the day, but also at night. The camera also has a motion sensor that activates as soon as something moves within about 1 metre of the camera. Moreover, the rainproof housing is suitable for all seasons.
Take photos and videos
See a cool bird in the picture? Then you can take a photo, as well as a video from 5 seconds to 5 minutes long! The camera can be used during the day (colour photos) and, thanks to the infrared illumination, also at night (black and white). The low power consumption ensures long battery life, but you can also use the camera with an external power supply (not included). Images are stored on an SD card (not included) and the included USB cable lets you transfer images to your computer.
