The Fujifilm XC 50-230mm F4.5-6.7 OIS II offers even more versatility compared to the previous model. It has an extensive zoom range which consistently delivers outstanding optical performance. The XC50-230mm II uses optical image stabilization to ensure outstanding performance. In addition, vibrations are minimized and blur prevented when shooting at longer focal lengths and in low light.

It is a powerful zoom lens with a range of 50-230mm (comparable to 76-350mm at 35mm) with excellent optical properties. Thanks to an aspherical, and an extra-low-dispersion glass element, the XC 50-230mm OIS II has practically no chromatic aberration. The lens is constructed of 13 lens elements divided among 10 groups.

The XC 50-230mm F4.5-6.7 OIS II features a highly accurate stepper motor which provides fast autofocus. This is ideal for video, and the capturing of moving objects. The sound of the zoom mechanism is suppressed as much as possible. The new design minimizes chromatic aberrations and distortion throughout the zoom range. This ensures brighter, more colour-accurate results. It is suitable for APS-C format.
