On one side sits a full-colour fill light with steplessly adjustable colour temperature (1800K–10000K), full RGB colour selection, and GM adjustment from -50 to +50. The other side functions as a magnetic wireless power bank, so you can quickly top up your phone on the go whenever the battery is running low.

The built-in lithium-ion battery of 8000mAh / 29.6Wh charges via USB-C (Power Delivery, max. 18W). The USB-C port works as both input and output, meaning you can also use the MA5R Plus wired to charge other devices. On the side of the magnetic attachment sits a dedicated selfie light (2800K–6500K) that provides additional fill light when you're in front of the camera. Ideal for portraits, vlogs, and livestreams in changing lighting conditions.

The fill light achieves an average CRI of ≥95 and TLCI of ≥97. The selfie light even reaches CRI ≥96 and TLCI ≥98. Both lights therefore deliver true-to-life colour rendering suitable for video and skin-tone-critical work. Control the MA5R Plus directly on the body or wirelessly via the Godox Light app on your phone. The Bluetooth connection works up to 30 metres, so you can adjust the light remotely during a shoot.

The silicone soft diffuser MA10R softens the light for a more flattering result when shooting portraits and products. The included MA5R magnetic ring can be attached to your phone case to connect non-magnetic devices as well.
