This nearly opaque filter blocks all visible light up to 720nm, making it possible to shoot subjects and scenes that are not visible under normal conditions. Due to the nature of infrared photography, the filter factor of this filter is highly variable and largely depends on the ISO sensitivity used and the lighting conditions. This filter is made of high-quality optical glass with an aluminum ring for extra protection of the glass.
