The Hoya 67mm YA3 Pro is an orange filter that increases the contrast when you photograph or film with a black and white film. When shooting with this filter in combination with a black and white film, green, blue and violet coloured subjects are reproduced in dark shades of grey. At the same time, yellow, orange and red subjects are displayed in light shades of grey. In black and white photography, the YA3 Pro filter creates dark skies with very defined clouds and the visibility of freckles and skin spots is reduced. In addition, this filter can minimize the presence of haze caused by the bluish glow of daylight.

To prevent effects such as ghosting and reflections, each glass surface has three layers of anti-reflective coating. These coatings therefore offer better protection and help to keep the filter cleaner for longer. This Hoya 67mm YA3 Pro colour filter is made of optical glass for optimum clarity and it has an aluminium alloy filter ring, making it both durable and lightweight.
