Ilford HP5 PLUS is a fast, fine-grain black-and-white film with average contrast, making it an excellent choice for journalism, documentaries, travel, sport, action, and indoor photography in natural light.

With a nominal sensitivity of ISO 400, HP5 PLUS produces exceptionally sharp, fine-grain negatives in all lighting conditions. The formulation ensures the film responds well to push processing, achieving a sensitivity of ISO 3200 at 36°.

The wide exposure latitude makes it an excellent choice for beginners, those returning to film photography after a break, and more experienced professional users.

HP5 PLUS can be developed in a wide range of different developers using spiral tanks, deep tanks, and automatic processors.
