The Irix 30 mm F1.4 is a prime lens for Canon. The Irix 30 mm f/1.4 boasts a modern optical design with 3 ultra-low dispersion glass elements, 2 high-reflection glass elements and one aspherical lens. There are a total of 13 elements in 11 groups that provide sharp details, vivid colouurs and ultra-low distortion - 0.95%. The lens is designed to work with 35 mm full-frame sensors. It is worth highlighting the use of a new 11 blade, rounded design that produces a pleasing and very vibrant background blur and works in the f/1.4 to f/16 range.

The Irix has a special focus ring with a distinctive shape. The special texture, and carefully selected rubber material that covers it, ensure reliable and precise focusing. Thanks to the special relief you can feel the position of the ring. Making focusing even easier.

The Focus Lock function allows you to lock the focus ring in a specific position. It is especially useful if you want to maintain a certain distance from the photographed object (zone-focusing) or if you want to focus perfectly at infinity in landscape or astrophotography.
