The Kite Optics Roof Prism Binoculars URSUS 10x42 is the entry-level model in the professional line of Kite roof prism binoculars. Easy to use and all-round, these binoculars are designed for everyday use. The optical system features Kite's MHR coating. This coating process applies a multi-layer coating to every glass surface, as well as a highly reflective coating on the prism. The result is excellent colour balance and a bright, sharp image.

The Ursus is fully waterproof and nitrogen-filled, eliminating any chance of condensation on the inside of the instrument. The chassis is covered with a robust rubber armour to provide the necessary protection against shocks and impacts.

The soft-touch rubber coating offers optimal grip in all the right places. The instrument is ultra-lightweight and well balanced, making it very comfortable to hold, operate, and carry with you all day long. The short-hinge design allows you to wrap your fingers fully around the barrel, so you can even observe with just one hand.

The Ursus is equipped with metal 4-position eyecups for optimal comfort both with and without glasses. The metal eyecups are rubber-coated and are also self-removable.

The focus wheel features a deep grooved pattern for maximum grip, even when wearing gloves. The wheel turns smoothly for fast and precise focusing from close range to infinity.
