The LaCie 1big Dock SSD Pro is a professional storage solution and docking station for video editing. It is designed for filmmakers working with video resolutions ranging from cinema quality up to 8K. The SSD Pro combines a 2TB FireCuda NVMe PCIe M.2 SSD with data transfer speeds of up to 2800 MB/s, two Thunderbolt 3 ports, a USB 3.0 Type-A port, a DisplayPort 1.4 output for 4K video, and SD, CFast 2.0, and CFexpress memory card slots.

Passthrough power delivery

While one of the Thunderbolt 3 ports is used to connect the 1big Dock SSD Pro to a compatible system running at least Windows 10 or macOS 10.14, the other can be used to daisy-chain additional devices or deliver up to 70 watts of charging power. You can only take full advantage of the maximum charging capacity when your laptop is connected to mains power. Otherwise, you will receive only 45 watts, or 30 watts when multiple devices are connected.

Easy file transfers

No more hassle when transferring files — with the SSD Pro you can do it effortlessly from your drone, mirrorless camera, DSLR camera, or other devices using the SD, CFast 2.0, and CFexpress memory card reader. When present on the device, you can connect directly to the LaCie 1big Dock SSD Pro from the front.
