The Laowa 100mm f/2.8 2X Ultra Macro APO with Canon EF mount from Venus Optics is a remarkably versatile short telephoto lens. The manual focus design suits the macro capabilities perfectly: you can work with subjects at up to 2:1 magnification, with a minimum focus distance of 24.6 centimetres. The 9-blade aperture contributes to a pleasing bokeh quality.

This prime telephoto lens is designed for Canon full-frame cameras with EF mount, but can also be used on APS-C models. There, it delivers an equivalent focal length of 160mm.
