The Laowa 20mm f/4 Zero-D Shift lens Hasselblad XCD is an ultra-wide-angle shift lens you can't resist. Besides high image sharpness and almost no distortion (Zero-D), the lens also comes with a pivoting lens hood to prevent flare and protect the front lens element. The degree of shift is ±11mm for full-frame cameras and ±8mm for medium format cameras, making it super easy to capture architectural and interior photography in a corrected perspective.

With an angle of view of 94.4° and up to 117° for panoramic photography, this lens captures the entire scène and reduces large areas of emptiness. It is ideal for architectural and interior photography to balance the subject and background.

The maximum possible shift (displacement) of the lens is ±11 mm for full-frame cameras and ±8 mm for medium-format cameras (e.g. Fujifilm GFX / Hasselblad X1D). With sufficient shift options, photographers can correct converging vertical lines created by distance. By changing the perspective of the lens, straight architecture can be easily captured.

The lens has 16 elements in 11 groups with 2 aspherical elements and 3 ED elements, impressively correcting chromatic aberration and providing consistent image sharpness from centre to edge.

The Laowa 20mm f/4 Zero-D Shift is one of the "Zero-D" members, its distortion is almost zero, meaning all straight lines can be maintained from corner to corner. This is an indispensable advantage for architectural, commercialële, interior and landscape photographers as the post-processing time is much shorter so the photo looks real.

The Laowa 20mm f/4 Zero-D Shift is suitable not only for distant architecture, but also for capturing objects at very close distances with a minimum focusing distance of 25 cm. Wide-angle macro shots can be easily taken without changing lenses.

The 360° rotating lens hood shields the front of the lens, preventing unwanted light spots and washouts. It is extremely convenient to use when there is a strong light source coming from the side. Photographers can also adjust the angle of the lens hood to avoid blocking the image during extreme shifts.
