Laowa 9mm F2.8 Zero-D Fuji X

The Laowa 9mm F2.8 Zero-D Fuji X lens combines an ultra-wide field of view with a particularly compact design and is a Fujifilm X mount lens with a 13.5 mm equivalent focal length. As a Zero-D lens, this optical design of 9 mm f/2.8 is specifically intended to limit distortion for clear and accurate images of landscapes and architectural objects. The optical construction also includes a pair of aspherical elements and three extra-low dispersion elements to control both spherical and chromatic aberrations for improved sharpness and fewer color fringes. A Frog Eye Coating has also been used to keep dust and moisture away from the front element of the lens to work in harsh environmental conditions. The slim and lightweight design is well matched to a mirrorless housing and is ideal for daily shooting and use on gimbals. In addition, a petal-shaped lens hood has been incorporated in the design of the lens to reduce ghosting and lens flare when working in high light conditions.
