The Laowa 9mm T2.9 ZERO-D Cine Lens is a rectilinear ultra-wide angle lens for APS-C cameras. Unlike other wide-angle lenses, despite the 110° viewing angle, straight lines remain truly straight. This is ideal if you want to capture a wide landscape in one shot. The maximum aperture of T2.9 also allows you to film in low light. Plus, this aperture allows you to create a shallow depth of field with a wider perspective.

Lens construction with special lens elements

Consisting of 15 elements in 10 groups, including two aspherical elements and three extra-low dispersion elements, the lens' optical design keeps both spherical and chromatic aberrations to a minimum. The maximum aperture of T2.9 is very suitable for filming and shooting in low light. You can focus from 12 centimetres.

Professional housing

Furthermore, the lens has a professional housing with a 55 mm filter thread with standard screw-in filters, 0.8 mod gears on both the aperture and focus rings, a stepless aperture ring for smooth operation and a scale on the lens housing.
