Leica Summilux-M 50 f/1.4 ASPH. Classic Black Paint

The Leica Summilux-M 50 f/1.4 ASPH. Classic Black Paint is a technically and optically refined 50mm lens that, thanks to its versatility, is suited to virtually any photographic situation. The new Classic version features a glossy black paint finish. Over time, this finish develops its own patina as the underlying brass subtly shows through, giving each lens a unique character.

As is characteristic of the Summilux-M series, the lens delivers exceptionally high image quality. The large maximum aperture of f/1.4 produces contrast-rich, detailed results. The 11 aperture blades also create a round, smooth bokeh that truly comes into its own at wide apertures.

The minimum focusing distance is 45 cm. Up to 70 cm, focusing can be achieved in the conventional manner; between 70 and 45 cm, Live View, the Visoflex, or the Leica FOTOS app is required for accurate focusing. The Classic version is completed with a matching round lens hood in the same glossy black paint finish.
