Miops Smart Trigger for Canon C1

The Miops Smart Trigger started out as a Kickstarter project. It was an immediate success, quickly reaching and even surpassing its funding goal.

This Smart Trigger isn't just designed for use with cameras — it can also be used to trigger a flash. The trigger features three built-in sensors: light, sound, and laser. Miops uses these sensors to detect events such as lightning, fireworks, bursting balloons, splashing water, and explosions. When triggered, the camera or flash fires instantly. The settings can be adjusted in several ways — directly on the trigger itself, or via the app (available for Android and iOS). The trigger can easily be updated to unlock new features. It runs on a rechargeable Li-ion battery (included).

Light-sensitive sensor

The sensor of the Miops Smart Trigger is extremely light-sensitive. This means it can react within a fraction of a millisecond. This trigger is therefore perfect for capturing action and movement or, for example, lightning storms.

Built-in microphone

The built-in microphone can trigger your camera or flash based on sound. This is very useful for high-speed photography.

Timelapse and HDR capabilities

The Miops Smart Trigger is also suitable for creating timelapse recordings. This is very straightforward: in the settings you can specify the desired interval and how many images you want to capture. The Smart Trigger does the rest! In HDR mode, you only need to set the basic settings and the desired exposure steps above and below. After that, the trigger takes over from you.
