This new projection attachment combines portability with precise control and features a rotating lens cylinder that allows zooming without removing gobos or shutters. Even with these advanced specifications, the projector remains very affordable, bringing this kind of professional lighting within reach of aspiring cinematographers, filmmakers, and camera operators.
The projector features a standard Bowens mount, compatible with Bowens fixtures under 800 watts, including Nanlite's popular Forza, FC, and FS series LED spotlights, as well as numerous fixtures from other brands. The focus ring allows light to be directed precisely where needed and the light output to be significantly concentrated. The projector enables seamless transitions from a medium to a wide beam with a simple turn of the zoom ring. It provides broad coverage at short distances and a directed beam at greater distances. The lens design allows for very smooth and precise focusing or deliberate defocusing, offering the control and flexibility needed for creative lighting effects. The lens cylinder supports 360° rotation, allowing the angle to be adjusted without removing the gobo or changing the aperture.
The Bowens Mount Projection Attachment 25°–45° is designed for sharp, colour-accurate projection, making it ideal for productions that require high-quality light. Combined with the included aperture blades, it improves the edge definition of the light beam, resulting in clear and precise projections, even at short distances. With an aspherical lens to reduce distortion, optical coatings to improve light transmission and minimise chromatic dispersion, and a matte inner cylinder to limit stray light, the projector delivers outstanding brightness and sharp edges — when desired.
The projection attachment is made from aluminium alloy and selected composite materials and weighs just 2.68 kg. This allows it to be mounted directly onto the LED spotlight without the need for additional support. This design offers the perfect balance between rigidity and reduced weight, genuinely improving portability. The compact form factor makes storage and transport considerably easier.
The projector features adjustable shutters for precise light shaping or selective illumination. The built-in gobo holder accommodates standard M-size patterns, and the included frame allows quick and easy placement of gels. Four M-size gobos are included, with two optional Nanlite gobo sets available for even greater creative versatility. The holder also supports a wide range of third-party M-size gobos. The aperture blade can be magnetically attached to reduce stray light and improve the quality of the beam edges. An optional 18-blade iris diaphragm is also available for seamless control over the diameter.
The Bowens Mount Projection Attachment 25°–45° is made from a high thermal conductivity aluminium alloy for efficient heat dissipation and stable performance during extended high-output use. A durable shoulder bag is included for safe transport and offers excellent shock resistance.
