Nanlite FS-150B Bi-Colour LED Spotlight
The Nanlite FS-150B Bi-Colour LED Spotlight is a bi-Colour AC LED light for live streaming, photo and video production that is easy to use and delivers professional-looking results, all in a compact and lightweight design with a top quality construction that is built to last. When you need brightness to illuminate a dark room, the FS-150B can provide up to 26,300 lux of light at a distance of 1 meter with the included reflector. It can also be dimmed to the exact brightness level you need. You can easily create different looks, from white sunlight to warmer indoor tones, because the FS-150B has an adjustable colour temperature range of 2700K-6500K. It also has high CRI and TLCI ratings of 96 and 97, meaning the colours you see are always accurate.
Thanks to the built-in Bluetooth, you can easily control the FS-150B with the free NANLINK mobile app for iOS and Android. It also has built-in 2.4 GHz, allowing you to control it wirelessly with the WS-RC-C2 portable remote control or the WS-TB-1 Transmitter Box for larger setups (both sold separately). You can attach softboxes and other light modifiers to the Bowens Mount, a virtually universal stand. There are a variety of separately available light modifiers that are compatible and allow you to soften and shape the light exactly the way you want. In addition, a built-in umbrella holder further expands the possibilities for light design.
The Nanlite FS-150B is impressively compact and lightweight, so it's easy to transport and won't take up too much space in the studio. Using it is simple. Simply plug it directly into a wall socket (there's no external power supply) using the included 4.5 meter cable and you're ready to get started.
The FS-150B has an adjustable CCT range of 2700K-6500K – which sounds technical – but it just means turning one knob until you're happy with how your image looks. You can turn the knob on the lamp itself, or adjust it with the NANLINK app on your phone when you are in front of the camera.
The built-in Bowens mount makes the FS-150B compatible with a wide range of light modifiers, such as Nanlite's own line of fresnels, softboxes and umbrellas. The FS-150B also has two useful modes: Maximum Output Mode, which always delivers the full power of the light, and Constant Output Mode, which ensures that your selected dimming setting remains consistent as you adjust the colour temperature.
There are special effects in the FS-150B that make it easy to create lighting scenarios that would otherwise be difficult to reproduce. At the touch of a button you can simulate 12 different practical lighting effects: CCT Loop, INT Loop, Flash, Pulse, Storm, TV, Paparazzi, Candle/Fire, Bad Bulb, Fireworks, Explosion and Welding.
