The Nanlite FS-300C LED RGBW Spot Light is a budget-friendly full-colour option with a substantial 300 watts on board. With this interesting lamp, Nanlite - which specialises in LED lighting for image makers - expands its existing FS line. The FS LED spots are a series of relatively simple and conveniently priced lamps for filmmakers, photographers and livestreamers. The main selling points of this new spotlight are an attractive price, a full-colour RGBW colour range with considerable power and precise control over the impressive range.

The FS-300C offers high efficiency and ample power to handle most common situations faced by image and content creators, especially when shooting indoors or in the studio. The lamp delivers 34,200 Lux at 1 metre (5600K, with reflector) and 15,850 Lux at 1 metre (green, with reflector). According to Nanlite, these figures set the FS-300C apart from other lamps of the same wattage.

The FS-300C offers a colour range of 2700K to 7500K and a ±150 green/magenta correction. This precise colour matching is possible thanks to an RGBW light engine and algorithm improvements, which provide users with a wide CCT range and accurate shade adjustment in CCT mode. In HSI mode, users can choose from as many as 36,000 colours. The lamp has a simple design and a clear button layout.

The FS-300C weighs 3.23 kg and features an all-in-one design that includes the lamp housing, controls and power adapter, making it easy to use. If you are familiar with the FS series, the lamp has the same two buttons and a MODE button that allows users to switch between CCT, HSI, effect modes and menu control.

It has built-in Bluetooth and 2.4GHz modules, and can be controlled wirelessly via the NANLINK APP 2.0 or a remote control. The app also supports preset and grouping functions, which are useful when synchronising multiple lamps. The device also has the well-known 15 built-in (and customisable) effects.

The FS-300C features a cooling system with a reduced noise level of 24dB(A) in smart mode. The fan system can be set in four modes to adapt to the recording scenario, allowing users to balance the noise level and output.

Finally, the FS-300C features a standard Bowens and umbrella mount and is compatible with a wide range of NANLITE modifiers and Bowens accessories. The integrated USB port enables firmware updates.
